It's spring!! I missed the equinox by a couple of days, but finally the balance has been tipped in favour of the light. What a glorious time of the year this is. The days are warm and sunny but the nights are still cool enough to allow plenty of snuggling in bed.
To me, the one thing that symbolises this time of the year is flowers. I love flowers but I rarely buy them. This time of the year is a real treat because for the next six weeks I splash out and ensure we always have fresh flowers on the table, as a way to celebrate the season.
