In the vegie box this week we received a little bag of fresh picked pecan nuts in their shell. Oh my, these were so good. I have never tasted pecans like these before, so sweet and buttery. There was a recipe for Pecan Pie in the farm letter, but ours didn't last that long.
It is a rare week that we don't get some little novel treat in the vegie boxes.
