Finally reconnected the grey water hose! We were using it all the time in the height of the 2007 drought but packed it away while the house was being renovated. Now it's back! Carrying waste water from the washing machine to the herb garden out the front. I wash all our clothes in Lux soap flakes plus Eco Store brand Oxygen Whitener for the nappies, so I'm fairly confident it's safe for the garden. And the herb garden sure could use the extra water.
Time and effort = about 10 minutes.
Why hadn't I done this sooner?
